Young Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II has one big ambition in life: Conquering the city of Constantinople and succeeding the Roman Empire. But it’s not an easy deed: the stronghold is formidable; the Golden Horn is deemed “impassable” and the enemy is not that feeble. He also must be clever against his internal adversaries in the palace; i.e., the Grand Vizier Çandarlı Halil Pasha. Like so, Mehmed II needs enhancement that will earn him the sobriquet “The Conqueror”, and it is his wise mentor Akşemseddin.
